Angelfood Ministries
What is Angelfood Ministries?
Angel Food Ministries is a
non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing
grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the
United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe,
Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve
thousands of families every month across 17 states. Angel Food
Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news
of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in
each food order.

How does the program work?
Every month the church will have certain days that people can come in and order boxes of food. Each box of food is only $30. Boxes can be paid for by cash, money order or food stamps*. On distribution day, the people that ordered food will come up to the church and pick up their boxes of food. There is not a limit as to the number of boxes that each person can order. Temple Baptist Church will not gain or lose money from selling food. We act only as a distribution agency. (* taxes may apply in some states)
Angel Food Guidelines:
1. All orders must be paid for at the time of ordering by cash, money order, or food stamps.
Food can only be ordered in person on the designated order days. The days can
be found on the top of this menu sheet or on www.gainesvilleangelfood.org.
You can order as many of the $30 sets or specials as you want.
4. Orders must be picked up on the designated day, during the designated times.
FOOD NOT PICKED UP BY 11:00 a.m. WILL BE GIVEN TO A LOCAL CHARITY.
5. You need to bring a box, about the size of a laundry basket, with you when you come to pick up your food.
6. When you come to pick up your food you must bring your yellow receipt. If you can
not make it, you must give your receipt to the person that is picking up your food.
If you do not have your receipt, you must show a driver’s license that matches the
name on the receipt.
7. Angel Food Ministries reserves the right to change the contents of the $30 box.
Substitutions will be made when other food is available, but they are not guaranteed.
8. If you have any questions, you can go to www.gainesvilleangelfood.org, call
